I have just spent the last two days shooting for my website, www.kellymadison.com. I have laughed so much I think I have lost my voice. All I can say is that the new Kia commercial has definitely inspired me. Check out my look-a-like. She doesn’t talk much but boy does she like to monkey around. She has been seen all over town. Thank goodness my baby dog is OK. I haven’t let on but for over a week now I have been on death watch for my dog Trey. He was diagnosed with severe low platelet count after I noticed his gums bleeding a couple days in a row. I was instructed to not let him lay down on any hard surfaces or even go for a walk. He was to remain in bed. I had to give him only soft food and within a week my dog lost 6 pounds that he didn’t need to lose. His muscle is being wasted away by Prednisone which he needs in order to get his platelets back up. If the prednisone didn’t work, we would have to investigate if it was cancer, probably leukemia. I have been a mess. I haven’t really slept all week, my face broke out, I cried, and most of all, I babied the heck out of my dog. Both Ryan and I have been spending all day and night with the big guy. I just got back from the vet and his numbers are up so it isn’t cancer. We don’t know what caused this autoimmune response in him but he is getting better and I can reduce his meds. I feel like a new person. My dogs are my kids and Trey is turning 10 on April 21st. I am just not ready to let him go just yet, I told him he had to give me at least 3 more years. He’s doing better so I guess he listened 🙂

I also got an invitation to go on “Inside Edition” television show. I had to regretfully decline because I am just not privy to all the details and nor do I think it is in good taste to talk about something in detail that I am not involved in. The phone interview with radaronline.com and Gary from TMZ.com was totally non-invasive and they just wanted my opinion on the situation. I wish Janine all the best and of course the best for Sunny.

Family Drama continues

My cousin Janine Lindemulder has been dealing with IRS, her ex-husband Jesse James and fighting with him and Sandra Bullock over custody of her daughter. Now Jesse has been outed for having an affair with a girl named Michelle McGee. Geez, I feel sorry for Sunny, the daughter. Now it seems Sandra is going to take flight or at least she should. Sunny’s mother is still having to live in a half-way house as part of her judgement. The whole thing is a tragedy. Jesse and Sandra have enough money and they could have helped Janine stay out of prison since she is the mother of his child. I hate when parents hate each other more than they love their child. Now this mess. Jesse is in a tough one. I guess he didn’t want the girl next door look any longer and was longing for the tatted hot chick look again. Notice the similarities? I wish them all luck with this mess and most of all, my heart goes out to that innocent little girl.

Dad’s Birthday

My father’s birthday is today. If he were still alive he would be 100 years old. Wow. He was 58 when he had me, he was 22 years older than my Mother. He passed when I was only 21 and he suffered for years with Alzheimer’s. He was an actor, a stuntman and a clothes horse. He loved wearing suits and we would always get dressed up and go out to dinner on Saturday nights. Our favorite place was the Long Beach Yacht Club. He loved to sail and we always lived close to the ocean because of this. I miss him to this day. Ryan and the dogs and I are going to visit his grave. We are going to share his favorite snack with him of cheese and crackers and wine and end it with a Hershey chocolate bar. He grew up near Hershey, PA and adored candy. I definitely inherited that from him along with his love of wine. Cheers Dad!
Relaxing day

It is so beautiful outside today. The sun is out and the dogs and I are basking in it here on my patio. The neighbor dog Noz came by for a visit, I am watering my plants and sipping some juice and we are all just chillin’ today. Ryan and Kip went to go hit golf balls hours ago so who knows where they are now but me, Trey, Kaylee and the Noziator are just too busy relaxing to notice 🙂
